La Senda is the project of native Bierzo winemaker Diego Losada who farms his 5 hectares of up to 60 year old vines organically and follows up with minimal intervention in the winery.

1984 is 100% Mencia from old bush vines growing on the steep slate slopes of Bierzo. Aged for 9 months in large oak vats before bottling without sulphur, this is a wonderfully vibrant and pure example of Galicia's star grape with smoky berry fruit, cigar box spice and a fine, silky texture.
