Alessandro Viola has 12 hectares of vines in Alcamo at the north-west tip of Sicily. Here he works organically with native Sicilian varieties to craft elegant, perfumed wines that bely the hot, arid climate that prevails here. 

Note di Bianco is 100% Grillo from 15 year old vines, harvested in early September and directly pressed, fermented and aged in stainless steel, before early bottling with minimal sulphur. Fruit forward with lovely pear skin bitters, it is joyful, fresh, lifted by a citrusy and salty finish.
